Neil O'Flaherty Appointed to the Food and Drug Law Institute's Medical Devices Committee
[Washington-April 20, 2009] Neil F. O'Flaherty, a principal of the firm, has been appointed to serve on the Food and Drug Law Institute's (FDLI) Medical Devices Committee. The Committee advises FDLI staff in formulating and implementing policies and strategies, consistent with FDLI's mission, relating to programs and publications of interest to the medical device industry. FDLI's mission is to serve as an impartial forum, providing leaders of government and the business, academic and consumer communities the opportunity to envision and pursue the evolution of public policy, law, and regulation of products subject to the jurisdiction of the Food and Drug Administration, thereby helping to protect and promote public health and safety and, in turn, contributing significantly to the quality of life.
