Drawing on forty years of experience with legislative and regulatory issues affecting the meat industry, Mr. Olsson discusses how the change in administration, recent food safety concerns and the financial crisis could impact the meat processing industry. Mr. Olsson views the change in administration as an opportunity for new ideas and initiatives to be considered and thinks that change is good for the country, as well as the meat industry.
