John R. Block
Former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture under Ronald Reagan
During his tenure as Secretary of Agriculture, Mr. Block visited more than 30 foreign countries, meeting with agriculture ministers and heads of state to open world markets for U.S. agriculture products. Mr. Block currently has a syndicated weekly radio commentary broadcast by more than 600 stations in 30 states. He serves on corporate boards including Deere and Company and Hormel foods Corporation. Mr. Block will work concurrently as President of the Wholesale Division of the food Marketing Institute, a trade association in Washington D.C.
