Former Congressman Stenholm Joins Olsson Frank Weeda, P.C.,
Enhances Firm's Public Policy Practice

WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 -- Olsson Frank Weeda, P.C., a leading Washington, D.C. law and lobbying firm in the fields of agriculture, food, drugs, medical devices and health care policy, today announced that former Representative Charlie Stenholm (D-Texas) has joined the firm.  Mr. Stenholm will serve as a Senior Policy Advisor.

Mr. Stenholm said, "For twenty-six years I worked in Congress for bipartisan solutions to advance economic opportunities, especially for people working in food and agriculture.  I look forward to continuing that work on behalf of clients at Olsson Frank."

Mr. Stenholm was a member of the House Committee on Agriculture throughout his 26-year House career, serving as the committee's ranking Democrat for the last eight years.  He earned a reputation for building bipartisan alliances in areas as diverse as agriculture, resource conservation, food safety, Social Security, energy, health care and budget.  Mr. Stenholm was co-chair of the Blue Dog Coalition, the Public Pension Reform Caucus, the Sound Dollar Caucus, and the U.S.-Mexico Business Caucus.
